Competencia...

Ayer me di cuenta de que hay otra persona que es capaz de superar en la
vida real a Chuck Norris. Steven Seagal. En la peli del otro día, que bien
podría haber estado basada en hechos reales, mostró su lado más realista en
una escena en la que interviene en medio de un intercambio de armas entre
terroristas y el gobierno corrupto de Tailandia. Una vez allí, y tras salvar
la vida al terrorista (que tenía a su hija), y saber todos que él estaba allí,
ni corto ni perezoso vació su cargador, contando yo aburrido todo lo que ocurrió
hasta que se acabó la escena (que más o menos fue cuando se le acabaron las balas
del único cargador que llevaba y pudo entrar la policía a por él), siempre con
un grado de error de un 1%, más o menos, el balance fue como sigue:
.- 150 balas disparadas.
.- 250 asiáticos en el suelo.
.- 350 muertos en la escena (él iba con un compañero que sobrevivió)
.- unos 200 policías rodeando la zona (y no entraron hasta que no se le vació el
cargador).

... Para que luego se ponga chulito el Chuck ese que no tiene ni media hora de karate,con lo super tierno que se pone Seagal en sus pelis.

La pesadilla de todo friki

Vean el video, y si logran desatascarlo del todo, como con sus ordenadores, no hagan caso al señor Lee. Caso contrario, tampoco se lo hagan, porque algún friki salido de tono le puso un gran diálogo a su ya de por si emocionante entrevista. Y pensar que la otra vez que salió este hombre en este blog fue por su esfínter de acero...

Viendo este video ya creo que puedo decir que he visto todos los colores de nuestra visión (estoy por analizar el UV y el IR). La tía no está nada mal, pero como ya la conocemos todos, podéis ver también los colores.

A bit of consciousness is never wrong

I just came into this video in YouTube, and I feel this is a good one. Some people should care more these kind of things. Watch it, and think about it:

Why? Why not?

Maybe I'm getting madder each second, maybe not. The fact is that I am watching the film 'The Time Machine', which is an adaptation from the homonym novel by H.G. Wells. Up to that point, everything is OK, I'm not so mad yet. The problem comes when I start questioning myself the basis of that novel itself. It is a satiric novel, which tries to ridiculize Victorian society. But it states that degeneration always erodes any kind of society. It is shown by the decomposition of human race in two separate types of animals, depredators and depredated.

Up to this point, still not mad. But how can we really stop this erosion that consumes our own type of living? It is uncertain. Life goes on circles, and always come to the same point. This cyclic conception of time was already conceived by the Ancient Greeks. It is not new. We base ourselves in destruction and construction, but the only survivors are those who can really 'change the wheel' in which they are rolling, and take a new one to get to the highest point again.

That could be a good conclusion from the film, but I still have one question about the end of the novel. Why does the main character stay in the future? Degeneration is surely worse than the original. But the problem is that maybe the degenerated enchant more than the original and perfect ones. That could be an even better conclusion, don't you think?

How I feel tonight...

I would like to tell you all how I feel tonight. It's strange, 'cause there is nothing special about it. And I am somehow happy about it.

Life is more than these four walls I'm into then all day long these days. I know it must be. Hope someone out there gets the message today and answer this ultimatum.

As you see, I feel like Robinson Crusoe in his small, lonely island (lonely?, not sure of that). Have you ever felt that you must shout but you can't do it? That's how I feel today.

The problem is that I'm afraid tomorrow I will have to confront life again (just as Mr. Crusoe did) and come back to the Earth of books. Sometimes it has to be done. I think tomorrow is one of those times.

6 days for holidays... I need them, for sure. This period is taking away not only my time, which is really precious, but also my vision about everything around me.

I don't really know if anyone is interested on this, but I don't really give a damn about it. I just wanted to write precisely those words (or not, as I let my feelings fly away).
