Ali-G with Posh and Becks

Some people think charity shows are boring, and you can always see the same people on them. Now try this English charity interview with Sacha Baron Cohen, a fine Cambridge historian (he is the one with glasses, an English and International idol), and the Becks'. Enjoy it, please. I want Ali-G's show in Spain!!!!! I'm going on strike for that!!!

Cheeky Girls

As this is a funny blog (only sometimes), I will introduce you a group that traumatized me in England, as I went to see it live in Bournemouth beach. Now, I want to share that trauma with you. Watch their two singles (in English top ten for many weeks):

Cheeky Song (presentation card from the group, non-commercial music):

Take your shoes off (they must have thought their music deserved that consideration):

And after watching those videos, imagine them in a live concert, and imagine my traumas... :)

A bit of consciousness is never wrong

I just came into this video in YouTube, and I feel this is a good one. Some people should care more these kind of things. Watch it, and think about it:

Why? Why not?

Maybe I'm getting madder each second, maybe not. The fact is that I am watching the film 'The Time Machine', which is an adaptation from the homonym novel by H.G. Wells. Up to that point, everything is OK, I'm not so mad yet. The problem comes when I start questioning myself the basis of that novel itself. It is a satiric novel, which tries to ridiculize Victorian society. But it states that degeneration always erodes any kind of society. It is shown by the decomposition of human race in two separate types of animals, depredators and depredated.

Up to this point, still not mad. But how can we really stop this erosion that consumes our own type of living? It is uncertain. Life goes on circles, and always come to the same point. This cyclic conception of time was already conceived by the Ancient Greeks. It is not new. We base ourselves in destruction and construction, but the only survivors are those who can really 'change the wheel' in which they are rolling, and take a new one to get to the highest point again.

That could be a good conclusion from the film, but I still have one question about the end of the novel. Why does the main character stay in the future? Degeneration is surely worse than the original. But the problem is that maybe the degenerated enchant more than the original and perfect ones. That could be an even better conclusion, don't you think?

'Sometimes, we risk what we have to get something better. Sometimes not. And we just don't get it.'

Your Birthdate: February 16

You're incredibly introverted and introspective. You live inside your head.
You spend a lot of alone time meditating and thinking.
People see you as withdrawn, and at times they are right.
You are caring and deep, but it may be difficult for you to show this side of yourself.

Your strength: Your original approach to thinking

Your weakness: You tend to shy away from others

Your power color: Pale blue

Your power symbol: Wavy line

Your power month: July

The Archies - Sugar Sugar

Little freaks

You don't need to live with little children to remember Heidi's song... but if you've forgotten it, The Sixth Channel remembers you how it was... in Japanese:

Another great song from Panda

Watch the latest video clip from the mexican band Panda:

Panda - Cita en el quirófano

A Cabritinha

No doubt, one of the best songs ever recorded.

My love style is...

Your Love Style is Agape

You are a caring, kind, and selfless partner.
Unsurprisingly, your love style is the most rare.
You are willing to sacrfice your world for your sweetie.
Except it doesn't really feel like sacrifice to you.
For you, nothing feels better than giving to the one you love.

Searching Forster

Now that my freakiest exam has gone (it will come back, for sure), this blog found Forster in the Tour of Spain, as he won today's stage arriving in Ford's car factory. I was amazed to hear that. We will actually publish today's results as a proof of this news:

1.- Robert Förster 4h 24' 55''
2.- S. O'Grady, m.t.
3.- S. Szmyd, m.t.
4.- D. Napolitano, m.t.
5.- T. Hushovd, m.t.

and finally, but not less important, his photograph:

How I feel tonight...

I would like to tell you all how I feel tonight. It's strange, 'cause there is nothing special about it. And I am somehow happy about it.

Life is more than these four walls I'm into then all day long these days. I know it must be. Hope someone out there gets the message today and answer this ultimatum.

As you see, I feel like Robinson Crusoe in his small, lonely island (lonely?, not sure of that). Have you ever felt that you must shout but you can't do it? That's how I feel today.

The problem is that I'm afraid tomorrow I will have to confront life again (just as Mr. Crusoe did) and come back to the Earth of books. Sometimes it has to be done. I think tomorrow is one of those times.

6 days for holidays... I need them, for sure. This period is taking away not only my time, which is really precious, but also my vision about everything around me.

I don't really know if anyone is interested on this, but I don't really give a damn about it. I just wanted to write precisely those words (or not, as I let my feelings fly away).

Thanks for being out there ;)

If I were...

Too much for me!

If You Were Born in 2893...

Your Name Would Be: Galt Jiro

And You Would Be: A Feared Warrior

My names

I've made several tests in Blogthings concerning my name, and guess what happened:

Your Russian Name Is...

Zory Ivanhoe Sokolov

Your Vampire Name Is...

Constantine of Turkey

Your 1950s Name is:

Frederick Gilbert

Guess yours!!!

How evil are you??

I made an evil test, and be careful with me!!! Let's look at the results:

You Are 56% Evil

You are evil, but you haven't yet mastered the dark side.
Fear not though - you are on your way to world domination.

Welcome!!!

For my first post I chose a video clip from a mexican group, Panda. Just to say hello!!. Ah, and forgive my bad thoughts!
